Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has announced its entry into India's specialty gases business. The company aims to become a one-stop supplier for the nation's semiconductor and solar cell manufacturers. This move addresses a critical bottleneck in the supply chain, as high-purity gases and chemicals are currently imported. Waaree is establishing a specialty gases plant in Gujarat to provide domestic supply. This expansion supports India's growing chip and electronics manufacturing sector under the Semicon India 2.0 program.
