FDA has seized food stock valued at ₹48 lakh during a multi-district operation targeting the diversion and sale of expired and damaged products. An FIR has been filed against a Reliance Consumer Products director and nine others, including employees from Reliance Retail, Blinkit, and Zomato Hyperpure, along with disposal agencies and suppliers. The investigation revealed that expired products meant for destruction were allegedly diverted through disposal agencies and unlicensed yards before reaching retailers.

FDA ने एक्सपायर्ड और खराब हो चुके प्रोडक्ट्स की हेराफेरी और बिक्री को रोकने के लिए कई जिलों में ऑपरेशन चलाया, जिसमें ₹48 लाख का फूड स्टॉक जब्त किया गया है। Reliance Consumer Products के एक डायरेक्टर और Reliance Retail, Blinkit, और Zomato Hyperpure के कर्मचारियों समेत नौ अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की गई है, जिनमें डिस्पोजल एजेंसियां और सप्लायर भी शामिल हैं। जांच में पता चला कि नष्ट किए जाने वाले एक्सपायर्ड प्रोडक्ट्स को कथित तौर पर डिस्पोजल एजेंसियों और बिना लाइसेंस वाले यार्ड के जरिए खुदरा विक्रेताओं तक पहुंचाया गया।
