Kerala Minister: Water Resources Dept. to Coordinate with PWD, LSGD for Road Restoration

Kerala's Water Resources Minister Mons Joseph announced that his department is collaborating with the Public Works and Local Self-Government departments to expedite road restoration after drinking water project excavations. The Water Resources department will reimburse costs incurred by the other departments for these repairs. Coordination meetings chaired by District Collectors and MLAs are being held to address issues and ensure timely completion of projects. Measures are in place to prevent cost escalation due to delays, with penalties for contractors found responsible for lapses.

केरल के जल संसाधन मंत्री मॉन्स जोसेफ ने घोषणा की कि उनका विभाग पीने के पानी की परियोजनाओं की खुदाई के बाद सड़कों की बहाली में तेजी लाने के लिए लोक निर्माण और स्थानीय स्वशासन विभागों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहा है। जल संसाधन विभाग इन मरम्मत के लिए अन्य विभागों द्वारा किए गए खर्चों का भुगतान करेगा। परियोजनाओं से संबंधित मुद्दों को हल करने और समय पर पूरा करने के लिए जिला कलेक्टरों और विधायकों की अध्यक्षता में समन्वय बैठकें आयोजित की जा रही हैं। देरी के कारण लागत बढ़ने से रोकने के उपाय किए गए हैं, और चूक के लिए जिम्मेदार पाए जाने वाले ठेकेदारों पर जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा।
