Ertiga Leads August 7-Seater Sales, Segment Grows

The Indian seven-seater passenger vehicle segment saw a significant 27.7 per cent year-on-year growth in August 2026, with sales reaching 86,703 units. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga topped the charts with 18,516 units sold, capturing a 21.4 per cent market share. Mahindra's Scorpio secured second place with 15,576 units, marking a substantial 58.3 per cent increase. Mahindra placed four models within the top seven, contributing significantly to the segment's overall performance.
