SC: Judicial Officer Raising Voice At Judges Is

The Supreme Court has stated that a judicial officer raising their voice at judges constitutes gross indiscipline. This statement came while the court was hearing a plea from Dilip S. Ghumare, a judicial officer from Maharashtra. Ghumare was challenging a Bombay High Court order that initiated contempt proceedings against him for an "inexcusable act with impunity" in open court.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि जजों पर चिल्लाने वाले न्यायिक अधिकारी को घोर अनुशासनहीन माना जाएगा। यह बात महाराष्ट्र के एक न्यायिक अधिकारी दिलीप एस. घुमारे की याचिका पर सुनवाई के दौरान कही गई। घुमारे बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के उस आदेश को चुनौती दे रहे थे, जिसमें अदालत में "बेशर्मी से किए गए अक्षम्य कृत्य" के लिए उनके खिलाफ अवमानना की कार्यवाही शुरू की गई थी।
