Residents of Ramdass Nagar in Ranipet blocked the Arakkonam-Sholinghur main road to protest encroachments on a common pathway. They are demanding the demolition of these obstructions, which include houses and fencing, as they have blocked access to essential facilities like the bus terminus and railway station. The blocked pathway forces residents to travel an additional three kilometers. Authorities assured residents that a survey would be conducted and the District Collector would be informed to address the issue and potentially create a new access road.
