A Panama-flagged oil tanker, MT LOUISE 1, carrying 27 Indian sailors, was attacked with a limpet mine, also known as a magnet bomb, in the Strait of Hormuz. The explosion caused a fire in the engine room, but all Indian crew members are safe. This marks the first successful use of a magnet bomb in the Strait of Hormuz since February.
