Jharkhand: Boy Drowns in Palamu Pond, Girl's Body Found in Jamshedpur River

A teenage boy drowned in a pond in Jharkhand's Palamu district on Sunday while participating in Jitiya Puja rituals. Separately, the body of a 13-year-old girl was recovered from the Swarnarekha river in Jamshedpur. The girl had been swept away by a strong current along with her sister during a ritual bath. While her sister was rescued, the girl remained missing until her body was found by divers. Locals protested the administration's lack of security arrangements at the river ghats during the festival.

पलामू तालाब में डूबा लड़का, जमशेदपुर नदी में मिली लड़की का शव

झारखंड के पलामू जिले में रविवार को जितिया पूजा के दौरान एक किशोर तालाब में डूब गया। वहीं, जमशेदपुर में स्वर्णरेखा नदी से 13 साल की एक लड़की का शव मिला। लड़की अपनी बहन के साथ रस्म के तौर पर नहा रही थी जब तेज बहाव में बह गई। उसकी बहन को बचा लिया गया, लेकिन लड़की लापता रही जब तक कि गोताखोरों ने उसका शव बरामद नहीं कर लिया। स्थानीय लोगों ने त्योहार के दौरान नदी घाटों पर प्रशासन की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की कमी के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया।
