Bomb Threat Diverts Tel Aviv–Vienna Flight; Checks Find No Risk

An Austrian Airlines flight from Tel Aviv to Vienna was diverted to Sofia, Bulgaria, on Sunday due to a bomb threat. The Airbus A320, carrying 51 passengers and six crew members, landed safely and all passengers were evacuated. Bulgarian authorities conducted thorough checks of the aircraft and its occupants, ultimately finding no threat. The flight later resumed its journey to Vienna with all passengers remaining on board. The incident prompted a security operation, including escort by a Bulgarian Air Force fighter jet.
