Rajnath Singh to Represent India at SCO Meeting in Tajikistan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will represent India at the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on October 19-20. The meeting aims to strengthen multilateral cooperation among SCO member states, focusing on trade, economy, investment, connectivity, innovation, and culture. India has been actively participating in SCO initiatives, contributing to regional cooperation through its efforts in startups, digital public infrastructure, and people-to-people contact. The discussions will also review progress on ongoing cooperation initiatives and financial matters of the organization.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह 19-20 अक्टूबर को ताजिकिस्तान के दुशांबे में होने वाली शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (SCO) के शासनाध्यक्षों की परिषद की बैठक में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। इस बैठक का उद्देश्य SCO सदस्य देशों के बीच व्यापार, अर्थव्यवस्था, निवेश, कनेक्टिविटी, नवाचार और संस्कृति पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए बहुपक्षीय सहयोग को मजबूत करना है। भारत SCO पहलों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग ले रहा है, स्टार्टअप्स, डिजिटल पब्लिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और लोगों से लोगों के संपर्क में अपने प्रयासों के माध्यम से क्षेत्रीय सहयोग में योगदान दे रहा है। चर्चाओं में चल रही सहयोग पहलों और संगठन के वित्तीय मामलों पर प्रगति की भी समीक्षा की जाएगी।
