Sixty-nine villages within the Amaravati capital region of Andhra Pradesh have been excluded from the upcoming local body elections. These villages, located across Tadikonda, Pedakurapadu, Guntur East, and Guntur West Assembly constituencies, are part of the proposed Amaravati Outer Ring Road. The government has decided to postpone elections in these areas as it is developing a separate governance framework for the capital city. Land pooling processes are ongoing in many of these villages, prompting the decision to keep them pending for now.

आंध्र प्रदेश के अमरावती राजधानी क्षेत्र के 69 गांवों को आगामी स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों से बाहर रखा गया है। ये गांव तडीकोंडा, पेडकुरपाडु, गुंटूर ईस्ट और गुंटूर वेस्ट असेंबली निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में फैले हुए हैं और प्रस्तावित अमरावती आउटर रिंग रोड का हिस्सा हैं। सरकार ने इन क्षेत्रों में चुनावों को स्थगित करने का फैसला किया है क्योंकि वह राजधानी शहर के लिए एक अलग शासन ढांचा विकसित कर रही है। इन गांवों में से कई में भूमि पूलिंग की प्रक्रियाएं चल रही हैं, जिसके कारण फिलहाल इन्हें लंबित रखने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
