The Hindu · india
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has informed the Supreme Court that its network remained fully functional on October 10, despite security-related station closures. The DMRC stated that 32 lakh passengers used the metro that day, a decrease from the usual 58 lakh, attributed to public caution during protests. Entry and exit gates were regulated at only 45 out of 303 stations, with over 85% of the network remaining operational. Key interchange stations continued to offer seamless transit, and all restrictions were lifted by 10 p.m.
