Hyderabad Villa Project Continues Construction Despite Encroachment Notices

A villa project in Koheda village, Hyderabad, has allegedly continued construction for nearly a year despite encroaching upon three feeder channels of Chinna Cheruvu. Multiple inspections and repeated notices from irrigation and revenue departments since September 2025 have failed to halt the development. Correspondence between authorities indicates the developer did not obtain necessary no-objection certificates. Despite warnings of potential flooding and obstruction of water flow, officials have yet to take decisive action against the project.
