UPSRTC to Run Additional Buses and Extra Trips For Diwali, Chhath Festivals

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is launching special services to manage the anticipated passenger surge during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. Between November 6 and 17, the Prayagraj region will operate 148 additional bus trips on key routes, including significant increases for Prayagraj-Lucknow, Prayagraj-Gorakhpur, Prayagraj-Kanpur, and Prayagraj-Varanasi. Additionally, 160 special buses will be deployed for the Chitrakoot Diwali fair, expecting over 35 lakh devotees. To ensure uninterrupted service, UPSRTC is offering special incentives to drivers, conductors, and other employees undertaking additional duties during this busy period.
