El Nino Drought: Telangana Cabinet Sub-Committee Plans Department-Wise Action

Telangana's Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka chaired a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting on drought conditions induced by El Nino. The committee resolved to prepare a comprehensive, department-wise action plan to address the drought. The plan will focus on ensuring water supply for drinking and irrigation, uninterrupted electricity, agricultural support, and rural employment. Officials were instructed to scientifically assess drought-affected mandals, including those where drought impact exceeds 20%, to provide timely assistance. The government aims to minimize the impact and ensure necessary aid reaches people through coordinated efforts.

अल नीनो सूखे पर तेलंगाना कैबिनेट उप-समिति विभाग-वार कार्रवाई की योजना बनाएगी

तेलंगाना के उप मुख्यमंत्री एम. भट्टी विक्रमार्क ने अल नीनो के कारण सूखे की स्थिति पर एक कैबिनेट उप-समिति की बैठक की अध्यक्षता की। समिति ने सूखे से निपटने के लिए एक व्यापक, विभाग-वार कार्य योजना तैयार करने का संकल्प लिया। योजना में पीने और सिंचाई के लिए पानी की आपूर्ति, निर्बाध बिजली, कृषि सहायता और ग्रामीण रोजगार सुनिश्चित करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा। अधिकारियों को समय पर सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए सूखे से प्रभावित मंडलों का वैज्ञानिक रूप से आकलन करने का निर्देश दिया गया है, जिसमें वे मंडल भी शामिल हैं जहाँ सूखे का प्रभाव 20% से अधिक है।
