Andhra Pradesh WALTA Act to be Strengthened to Protect Trees, Says MLC Nagababu

Andhra Pradesh Green Executive Committee chairman and Jana Sena Party MLC Konidela Nagababu announced that the Water, Land, and Trees Act (WALTA Act) will be strengthened to prevent the destruction of valuable trees. He participated in a mangrove restoration program, planting saplings as part of an initiative to cover 100 hectares with three lakh mangrove trees. Nagababu emphasized the importance of safeguarding trees and natural resources, warning that pollution is seriously affecting public health. He called for collective efforts to control pollution and preserve forests, water resources, and biodiversity.

आंध्र प्रदेश ग्रीन एग्जीक्यूटिव कमेटी के चेयरमैन और जन सेना पार्टी के MLC कोनिडेला नाग बाबू ने घोषणा की कि कीमती पेड़ों के विनाश को रोकने के लिए जल, भूमि और वृक्ष अधिनियम (WALTA Act) को मजबूत किया जाएगा। उन्होंने मैंग्रोव बहाली कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया, तीन लाख मैंग्रोव पेड़ों से 100 हेक्टेयर को कवर करने की पहल के हिस्से के रूप में पौधे लगाए। नाग बाबू ने पेड़ों और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों की सुरक्षा के महत्व पर जोर दिया और चेतावनी दी कि प्रदूषण सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य को गंभीर रूप से प्रभावित कर रहा है। उन्होंने प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने और जंगलों, जल संसाधनों और जैव विविधता को संरक्षित करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों का आह्वान किया।
