Haryana Hospitals on Alert for Diwali, Beds Reserved for Firecracker Injuries

Haryana's government has instructed all public and private hospitals across the state to enhance emergency preparedness for Diwali. This directive aims to manage a potential rise in injuries from firecrackers, burns, eye trauma, and road accidents during the festival. Hospitals are required to maintain dedicated burn wards, sufficient medicine stocks, and round-the-clock emergency services. Government facilities must reserve over 20 beds for emergencies, with additional capacity in surgery, orthopaedics, and ophthalmology departments.

हरियाणा सरकार ने राज्य भर के सभी सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों को दिवाली के लिए आपातकालीन तैयारी बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया है। इस निर्देश का उद्देश्य त्योहार के दौरान पटाखों से चोटों, जलने, आंखों की चोटों और सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में संभावित वृद्धि को प्रबंधित करना है। अस्पतालों को समर्पित बर्न वार्ड, पर्याप्त दवा स्टॉक और चौबीसों घंटे आपातकालीन सेवाएं बनाए रखने की आवश्यकता है। सरकारी सुविधाओं को आपात स्थिति के लिए 20 से अधिक बेड आरक्षित करने होंगे, साथ ही सर्जरी, ऑर्थोपेडिक्स और नेत्र विज्ञान विभागों में अतिरिक्त क्षमता भी रखनी होगी।
