Delhi Court Sentences Five Bharat Bhushan Gang Members To Life Imprisonment Under MCOCA

A Delhi court has sentenced five members of the Bharat Bhushan gang to life imprisonment under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). The convicts, including gang leader Bhushan alias Tony, were found guilty of involvement in armed robberies, extortion, and other offences across Delhi and the NCR. The court observed that their actions posed a significant threat to society, leaving little scope for reformation. Each convict was also fined ₹5 lakh, with the gang's activities extending from Delhi to Haryana.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने महाराष्ट्र कंट्रोल ऑफ ऑर्गनाइज्ड क्राइम एक्ट (MCOCA) के तहत भारत भूषण गैंग के पांच सदस्यों को उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई है। गैंग लीडर भूषण उर्फ टोनी सहित दोषी, दिल्ली और NCR में सशस्त्र डकैती, जबरन वसूली और अन्य अपराधों में शामिल पाए गए। अदालत ने कहा कि उनके कामों से समाज को बड़ा खतरा था और सुधार की गुंजाइश कम थी। हर दोषी पर 5 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया गया, और गैंग की गतिविधियाँ दिल्ली से हरियाणा तक फैली हुई थीं।
