CJP's 'Lehra Do Tiranga' Campaign Leads To Central Park Closure

Delhi Police has closed Connaught Place's Central Park to the public and 17 due to a planned 'Lehra Do Tiranga' campaign by the CJP. While the High Court granted permission for the protest, police have increased security and barricaded the area to manage crowds and prevent untoward incidents. The CJP announced the campaign after their protest at Jantar Mantar was restricted. Police have appealed to the public to avoid the area, citing Section 163 of the BNSS for maintaining peace and protecting property.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने CJP द्वारा आयोजित किए जाने वाले 'लहरा दो तिरंगा' अभियान के कारण कनॉट प्लेस के सेंट्रल पार्क को 17 तारीख को जनता के लिए बंद कर दिया है। हालांकि हाई कोर्ट ने विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति दी थी, पुलिस ने भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने और अप्रिय घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी है और इलाके को घेर लिया है। CJP ने जंतर मंतर पर उनके विरोध प्रदर्शन को प्रतिबंधित किए जाने के बाद इस अभियान की घोषणा की थी। पुलिस ने शांति बनाए रखने और संपत्ति की सुरक्षा के लिए BNSS की धारा 163 का हवाला देते हुए जनता से इस क्षेत्र से बचने की अपील की है।
