Doctors' Bodies Outraged Over Sunny Deol Film Teaser Demanding Action Against Portrayal of Violence

Times of India · entertainment

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) and AIIMS Delhi resident doctors have condemned the teaser for Sunny Deol's film 'Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak'. They allege the teaser generalizes corruption in the medical profession and risks justifying violence against doctors. The IMA and AIIMS RDA have demanded an impartial review and corrective action, stating that while individual misconduct should be punished, an entire profession should not be defamed. They argue that glorifying violence against doctors is unacceptable and erodes patient trust, potentially escalating violence against healthcare workers.
