Nashik Civic Body Gives 8-Day Deadline For Utility Works On Kumbh Route

The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has mandated that all civic departments and utility agencies must complete pending and proposed underground works along the Simhastha Kumbh Mela’s Amrit procession route within eight days. This directive aims to facilitate upcoming road development on the crucial Tapovan to Ramkund stretch, which seers will use for the 2027 Kumbh Mela. Agencies failing to meet the deadline or report their plans will forfeit any future excavation rights on the newly developed roads.

नासिक नगर निगम (NMC) ने आदेश दिया है कि सभी नागरिक विभागों और यूटिलिटी एजेंसियों को सिंहस्थ कुंभ मेले के अमृत जुलूस मार्ग के साथ लंबित और प्रस्तावित भूमिगत कार्यों को आठ दिनों के भीतर पूरा करना होगा। इस निर्देश का उद्देश्य 2027 कुंभ मेले के लिए महत्वपूर्ण तपोवन से रामकुंड तक के मार्ग पर आगामी सड़क विकास को सुगम बनाना है, जिसका उपयोग संत करेंगे। समय सीमा को पूरा करने या अपनी योजनाओं की रिपोर्ट करने में विफल रहने वाली एजेंसियों को नव विकसित सड़कों पर भविष्य में खुदाई का कोई अधिकार नहीं मिलेगा।
