The Alopec Sankari Devi temple in Prayagraj, considered one of India's 51 Shaktipeeths, holds a unique tradition of worshipping a divine cradle instead of a statue. Devotees believe their wishes are fulfilled when prayed with a true heart at this sacred site. Legend states that Goddess Sati's hand fell here and became invisible, giving the temple its name. The temple also houses deities like Kaal Bhairav and Hanuman, and devotees offer milk, yogurt, and nuts to a sacred pond upon wish fulfillment.

प्रयागराज में स्थित अलोप शंकारी देवी मंदिर, जिसे भारत के 51 शक्तिपीठों में से एक माना जाता है, में मूर्ति की जगह एक दिव्य पालने की पूजा की अनोखी परंपरा है। भक्तों का मानना है कि इस पवित्र स्थान पर सच्चे दिल से मांगी गई मन्नतें पूरी होती हैं। किंवदंती है कि देवी सती का हाथ यहां गिरा था और अदृश्य हो गया था, जिससे मंदिर का नाम अलोप शंकारी पड़ा। मंदिर में काल भैरव और हनुमान जैसे देवी-देवता भी विराजमान हैं, और मन्नत पूरी होने पर भक्त पवित्र तालाब में दूध, दही और मेवे चढ़ाते हैं।
