उत्तर प्रदेश की वोटर लिस्ट में बड़ी गड़बड़ी के आरोपों ने चुनाव आयोग को जांच के दायरे में ला दिया है। पीलीभीत सदर सीट से शिकायतें आई हैं कि एक ही EPIC (वोटर आईडी) नंबर पर अलग-अलग लोगों का विवरण दर्ज है। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी के दफ्तर ने गड़बड़ी की पुष्टि की है और अधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया है। कांग्रेस ने दावा किया है कि अंतिम सूची जारी होने के बाद 13,150 मतदाताओं के नाम बदले गए, जबकि उनके EPIC नंबर वही रहे। पार्टी ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि बड़ी संख्या में मुस्लिम मतदाताओं को प्रभावित किया गया और पूरी प्रक्रिया रद्द करने की मांग की।
