Mumbai Indians have appointed former Australian cricketer Luke Williams as their new head coach for WPL 2027. Williams replaces Lisa Keightley, who is leaving for a significant role with Cricket Australia. Williams is a highly regarded coach, having led RCB to their maiden Women's Premier League title in 2024. He also coached Adelaide Strikers to WBBL championships in 2022 and 2023, and Southern Brave to a title in The Hundred.
