Missing Man Found Dead in Najafgarh Drain; Two Arrested for Revenge Killing

The decomposed body of a 32-year-old man, missing since Sunday, was discovered in southwest Delhi's Najafgarh drain with a head injury and bricks tied to it. Police arrested two men on Thursday who confessed to the murder. They claimed revenge, stating the victim had allegedly raped a minor relative in 2021. The accused first strangled the victim, then used bricks to inflict head injuries and prevent the body from surfacing before dumping it in the drain. The victim was last seen with the accused near the drain on October 24.

रविवार से लापता 32 वर्षीय व्यक्ति का सड़ा-गला शव दक्षिण पश्चिम दिल्ली के नजफगढ़ नाले में सिर पर चोट और उससे बंधी ईंटों के साथ मिला। पुलिस ने गुरुवार को दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जिन्होंने हत्या कबूल की। उन्होंने बदला लेने का दावा किया, यह बताते हुए कि पीड़ित ने कथित तौर पर 2021 में एक नाबालिग रिश्तेदार से बलात्कार किया था। आरोपियों ने पहले पीड़ित का गला घोंटा, फिर ईंटों से सिर पर चोट पहुंचाई और शव को नाले में फेंकने से पहले उसे ऊपर आने से रोका। पीड़ित को आखिरी बार 24 अक्टूबर को आरोपियों के साथ नाले के पास देखा गया था।
