Clothing Tag Helps Police Identify Murder Victim

Bengaluru police have arrested Sagar Chandra Rawat, 32, for allegedly murdering his wife, Anusuya Behara, 28, about 20 days prior. Her decomposed body was found in a vacant site in Agrahara Layout on September 2. The couple reportedly argued over a financial matter, leading Rawat to strangle Behara. He allegedly kept the body for three days before dumping it in a vacant site. A clothing tag led investigators to a shopping complex in Bhubaneswar, helping them identify the victim and subsequently arrest Rawat.

बेंगलुरु पुलिस ने सागर चंद्र रावत को अपनी पत्नी अनुसूया बेहरा की हत्या के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। यह घटना करीब 20 दिन पहले हुई थी। अनुसूया का सड़ा-गला शव 2 सितंबर को अग्रहार लेआउट की एक खाली जगह में मिला था। कहा जा रहा है कि पैसों को लेकर झगड़े के बाद रावत ने अनुसूया का गला घोंट दिया। उसने तीन दिन तक शव को घर में रखकर बाद में खाली जगह में फेंक दिया था।
