Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca stated that the club and players are calm and focused on football matters despite facing severe charges. The team could potentially receive a points penalty or expulsion from the Premier League following an independent commission's findings of inflated revenue and cost-cutting through "sham" contracts between 2009 and 2018. Maresca confirmed the squad is excited about their current league position and professional, with their primary focus on upcoming matches, including the crucial game against Liverpool.
