The BJP has accused the Congress of being involved in an 'anarchy and regime change plot', drawing parallels between European unrest and Indian protests against the Election Commission. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia claimed Rahul and Sonia Gandhi met with Progressive International, an anti-capitalist group, on April 10, 2025. He alleged this group links unrest in France, Spain, and Albania to events in India. Bhatia cited a Fox News investigation linking 101 global groups to protests, suggesting a coordinated effort to destabilize elected governments and institutions.
