India, Czech Republic Agree To Expand Defence Cooperation

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with Czech Republic's First Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlícek to discuss expanding defence industrial cooperation. Both nations agreed to enhance collaboration under the India-Czech Joint Defence Committee to promote 'Make-in-India' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives. They also reviewed regional peace and security, acknowledging the need for greater cooperation to maintain stability. The partnership is built on historical ties, cultural links, and shared values of trust and respect. Havlícek is on a four-day visit to India.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने चेक गणराज्य के प्रथम उप प्रधानमंत्री कारेल हAVLÍČEK से मुलाकात कर रक्षा औद्योगिक सहयोग बढ़ाने पर चर्चा की। दोनों देशों ने 'मेक-इन-इंडिया' और 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' पहलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भारत-चेक संयुक्त रक्षा समिति के तहत सहयोग बढ़ाने पर सहमति व्यक्त की। उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय शांति और सुरक्षा की भी समीक्षा की और स्थिरता बनाए रखने के लिए अधिक सहयोग की आवश्यकता को स्वीकार किया। यह साझेदारी ऐतिहासिक संबंधों, सांस्कृतिक जुड़ाव और विश्वास व सम्मान के साझा मूल्यों पर आधारित है। हAVLÍČEK चार दिवसीय भारत दौरे पर हैं।
