Karnataka has received an award for achieving the highest under-construction wind power capacity of 9 GW. The recognition was given at the 8th edition of Windergy 2026, organised by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers’ Association in Chennai. Energy Minister K.J. George stated that this achievement highlights the state's consistent focus on renewable energy development and its commitment to fostering an environment for clean energy investments.

कर्नाटक को 9 गीगावाट की सबसे ज़्यादा निर्माणाधीन पवन ऊर्जा क्षमता हासिल करने के लिए एक अवॉर्ड मिला है। यह सम्मान चेन्नई में इंडियन विंड टर्बाइन मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित Windergy 2026 के 8वें संस्करण में दिया गया। ऊर्जा मंत्री K.J. George ने कहा कि यह उपलब्धि नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा के विकास पर राज्य के लगातार ध्यान और स्वच्छ ऊर्जा निवेश के लिए माहौल बनाने की उसकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।
