RBI May Tighten Policy by 50bps in CY26

This tightening could be split between the October and December policy meetings. अमेरिका के फेडरल रिजर्व द्वारा ब्याज दर में 0.25% की बढ़ोतरी के बाद, विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) 2026 में अपनी मौद्रिक नीति को 0.50% तक सख्त कर सकता है। यह सख्ती अक्टूबर और दिसंबर की बैठकों में हो सकती है। अगस्त में खुदरा महंगाई 4.82% थी, जो लगातार तीसरे महीने RBI के 4% के लक्ष्य से ऊपर है। थोक महंगाई भी बढ़कर 9% हो गई।
