India opener K.L. Rahul had a disappointing outing in the Ranji Trophy 2026-27, scoring just one run off 20 balls against Andhra. This followed his dismissal for four runs in the first innings. The match was intended to provide Rahul with valuable red-ball practice ahead of India's upcoming tour of New Zealand. He is also scheduled to participate in three red-ball matches for India A as part of his preparation for the two-Test series.
