A Hyderabad consumer commission has ordered Interior Company by Square Yards and its affiliates to pay Rs 4.25 lakh to a woman for interior work that differed from approved 3D designs. The woman had paid approximately Rs 12.45 lakh for the flat interiors in 2023-24. She alleged significant discrepancies in colours, fittings, and installations compared to the agreed-upon renders. The commission found the companies liable for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices for failing to adequately inform her about the role of production drawings versus illustrative designs.

हैदराबाद उपभोक्ता आयोग ने इंटीरियर कंपनी बाय स्क्वायर यार्ड्स और उससे जुड़ी कंपनियों को एक महिला को ₹4.25 लाख का भुगतान करने का आदेश दिया है क्योंकि फ्लैट का इंटीरियर स्वीकृत 3D डिज़ाइन से अलग था। महिला ने 2023-24 में फ्लैट के इंटीरियर के लिए लगभग ₹12.45 लाख का भुगतान किया था। उसने आरोप लगाया कि सहमत रेंडर की तुलना में रंग, फिटिंग और इंस्टॉलेशन में महत्वपूर्ण अंतर थे। आयोग ने कंपनियों को सेवा में कमी और अनुचित व्यापार प्रथाओं के लिए उत्तरदायी पाया क्योंकि उन्होंने उसे प्रोडक्शन ड्राइंग बनाम इलस्ट्रेटिव डिज़ाइन की भूमिका के बारे में पर्याप्त रूप से सूचित नहीं किया था।
