Andres Bernal, a former professional tennis player from the Dominican Republic, arrived in the US with just $500. He began investing in Connecticut real estate in 2016, inspired by his family's background in property. A decade later, Bernal now owns over 60 rental units valued at more than $12 million. His diverse portfolio includes multifamily homes, duplexes, single-family houses, and student rentals, with some properties participating in the federal Section 8 housing program. Bernal has also expanded into property flipping, completing over 50 flips in recent years.
