Russian Ambassador Evgeny Tomikhin stated that Russia-Thailand trade could eventually surpass $10-15 billion. This significant increase is contingent upon the removal of existing trade barriers between the two nations. Such a development would represent a substantial boost to bilateral economic relations, fostering greater commercial ties and potentially opening new markets for both countries if obstacles are successfully addressed.
