India has strongly condemned recent attacks on commercial shipping vessels in the Black Sea and off Oman, which resulted in casualties and injuries. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that navigation and commerce through international waterways must be restored promptly. Eleven Indian crew members were injured in an attack on a Panama-flagged vessel near the Strait of Hormuz and are receiving medical treatment in Oman. Another attack in the Black Sea claimed two foreign seafarers' lives, though three Indian nationals on board were reported safe.
