India's weather is set to change, with the IMD forecasting rain and thunderstorms across 20 states. Hill states like Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand will experience heavy rainfall and winds up to 50 km/h. Northern plains, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab, will also see light to moderate showers. Eastern India, encompassing Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, is predicted to receive heavy downpours. Southern states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala are also under a heavy rain alert, with some regions expecting gusty winds.
