Student Leaders Detained For Jantar Mantar Protest

Student leaders and activists protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar were detained by police on Friday. The protesters alleged irregularities in election conduct following a report that two election commissioners had objected to electoral roll revisions. Among those detained were Neha Bora of the All India Students’ ML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya.

दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर छात्र नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं को शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया। वे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने चुनाव प्रक्रिया में गड़बड़ी का आरोप लगाया। यह आरोप एक रिपोर्ट के बाद लगा जिसमें कहा गया था कि दो चुनाव आयुक्तों ने मतदाता सूची में बदलाव पर आपत्ति जताई थी। हिरासत में लिए गए लोगों में नेहा बोरा और ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स के महासचिव दिपांकर भट्टाचार्य भी शामिल थे।
