A Mississippi father's decision to transfer his family home and 0.86 acres to his wife, instead of his three children as initially planned, has been upheld by the Mississippi Court of Appeals. His daughter had challenged the transfer, claiming her father was vulnerable due to declining health. However, the court found insufficient evidence of undue influence or pressure on the father. The father had originally intended to divide the property equally among his children but later signed documents transferring it to his wife, Della Johnson Hall, in March 2021.
