NHPC and Essar Renewables Partner on $475 Million Green Energy Project in Andhra Pradesh

NHPC and Essar Power's renewable energy unit will jointly develop a 300-megawatt green energy project in Andhra Pradesh. Essar's parent company will invest approximately 45 billion rupees, equivalent to $475 million, in the venture. This project aims to integrate solar, wind, and battery storage systems to supply renewable power. It aligns with India's national goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 and enhances grid reliability amid rising electricity demand.

NHPC और Essar Power की रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी यूनिट आंध्र प्रदेश में मिलकर 300-मेगावाट का ग्रीन एनर्जी प्रोजेक्ट बनाएंगी। Essar की पैरेंट कंपनी इस प्रोजेक्ट में करीब 45 अरब रुपये, यानी $475 मिलियन का निवेश करेगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद सोलर, विंड और बैटरी स्टोरेज सिस्टम को मिलाकर रिन्यूएबल पावर सप्लाई करना है। यह भारत के 2030 तक 500 GW रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी क्षमता हासिल करने के लक्ष्य के अनुरूप है और बढ़ती बिजली की मांग के बीच ग्रिड की विश्वसनीयता को भी बढ़ाएगा।
