Punjab Police Flags Banned Drug Inflow From Other States To DGPs

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has raised the critical issue of banned pharmaceutical drugs being supplied from other states with the DGPs of respective states. This comes amid the uproar over the murder of an anti-drug activist. The Punjab Police has launched new strategic frameworks and a 60-day mission mode to fight drugs, focusing on joint surveillance of hotspots. The DGP also highlighted efforts to dismantle financial networks, with properties worth Rs 902 crore frozen and a 90% conviction rate achieved.

पंजाब के DGP गौरव यादव ने दूसरे राज्यों के DGP के साथ बैन फार्मास्युटिकल ड्रग्स की सप्लाई का मुद्दा उठाया है। यह एंटी-ड्रग एक्टिविस्ट की हत्या के हंगामे के बीच आया है। पंजाब पुलिस ने ड्रग्स से लड़ने के लिए नए रणनीतिक ढांचे और 60-दिवसीय मिशन मोड लॉन्च किया है, जिसमें हॉटस्पॉट की संयुक्त निगरानी पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है। DGP ने वित्तीय नेटवर्क को खत्म करने के प्रयासों पर भी प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें 902 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति फ्रीज की गई और 90% सजा दर हासिल की गई।
