Five Arrested Near RAF Fairford In Terror Probe

UK counter-terror police are investigating after five men were arrested near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire on suspicion of terror offences. The arrests followed reports of suspicious vehicles heading towards the base early on Sunday. Armed officers responded to the initial call, and the men were arrested under the UK Explosives Act and for preparation of a terrorist act. A cordon is in place around the vehicles, and approximately 85 households have been evacuated as a precaution while examinations are conducted.

यूके की आतंकवाद रोधी पुलिस RAF फेयरफोर्ड, ग्लॉस्टरशायर के पास पांच लोगों की आतंकवाद के शक में गिरफ्तारी की जांच कर रही है। यह गिरफ्तारी रविवार तड़के बेस की ओर संदिग्ध वाहनों की सूचना के बाद हुई। सशस्त्र अधिकारियों ने शुरुआती कॉल पर प्रतिक्रिया दी और लोगों को यूके एक्सप्लोसिव्स एक्ट के तहत और आतंकवादी कृत्य की तैयारी के लिए गिरफ्तार किया गया। वाहनों के आसपास घेराबंदी कर दी गई है और जांच के दौरान सावधानी के तौर पर लगभग 85 घरों को खाली कराया गया है।
