They questioned the timeline for fabrication and installation, the absence of company details, and the delay in cancelling a tender after flagging it.

चेन्नई: भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी एनजीओ अराप्पोर इयक्कम ने तमिलनाडु सरकार के इस दावे पर सवाल उठाया है कि ताम्बरम में 46 लाख रुपये की दो टेंडरों में सिर्फ "प्रक्रियात्मक चूक" हुई है। एनजीओ ने अशोक स्तंभ और "जल बचाओ" मूर्तियों के निर्माण और स्थापना को लेकर सरकार के बयानों में विसंगतियों का हवाला दिया। उन्होंने निर्माण, स्थापना की समय-सीमा, कंपनी के विवरण न होने और टेंडर रद्द करने में देरी पर सवाल उठाए हैं।
