Kerala Resort Charges Extra For New Year Gala Dinner, Customers Face Dilemma

TV9 Hindi · lifestyle

A 5-star resort in Munnar, Kerala, has sparked customer outrage by mandating a New Year's Eve gala dinner with additional charges, ranging from ₹4,599 to ₹8,599 per adult. Customers who booked non-refundable stays were informed after booking that participation in the mandatory gala dinner was required to keep their reservations. Refusal to pay the extra fee could lead to booking cancellation. A tech professional shared his experience on social media, questioning the resort's practice of imposing such conditions late in the booking process.
