Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has reported hackers stole approximately $6.3 billion in the biggest crypto heist on record. The exchange suspended deposits and withdrawals and stated it would cover all user losses, assuring funds are safe. Blockchain analysis firms TRM Labs and Chainalysis suggest the attack originated from North Korea, potentially linked to the Lazarus Group. While Binance is investigating, they have frozen about $3 billion of the stolen assets, with more potentially recoverable.
