Punjab CM Mann's France Visit Cleared By High Court

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has permitted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's official visit to France, overturning the Centre's denial of political clearance. The court allowed the state government's petition challenging the central government's decision. Mann expressed gratitude and stated he would depart on Friday night, questioning the need for court permission for such matters. The delegation planned to attend the SIAL Paris food innovation exhibition to promote trade, with the state government arguing the denial was arbitrary and lacked reasons.

पंजाब और हरियाणा हाई कोर्ट ने पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान की फ्रांस की आधिकारिक यात्रा की इजाजत दे दी है। कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार द्वारा राजनीतिक मंजूरी देने से इनकार करने के फैसले को पलट दिया है। कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार की उस याचिका को मंजूर किया जिसमें केंद्र सरकार के फैसले को चुनौती दी गई थी। मान ने आभार जताया और कहा कि वह शुक्रवार रात को रवाना होंगे। उन्होंने ऐसे मामलों के लिए कोर्ट की इजाजत की जरूरत पर सवाल उठाया। प्रतिनिधिमंडल का मकसद व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के लिए SIAL Paris फूड इनोवेशन प्रदर्शनी में भाग लेना था। राज्य सरकार ने तर्क दिया था कि इनकार मनमाना था और इसके कोई कारण नहीं बताए गए थे।
