The wife of U Min Zin, a US scholar detained in China on national security charges, has appealed to President Donald Trump to raise his case with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Min Zin, head of ISP-Myanmar, was detained in June after attending a workshop in Kunming. His wife, Sylvia Zin, has not spoken to him directly and relies on consular visits for updates. She described his harsh detention conditions, including daily interrogations and constant light.
