India has strongly condemned a deadly attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Karak, Jordan, which resulted in the deaths of eight people and injured several others. The Ministry of External Affairs expressed solidarity with Jordan, calling the incident a heinous and cowardly act. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also conveyed condolences to the victims' families. The attack, which occurred on Friday, saw gunmen open fire on a funeral procession. Jordan has vowed to track down those responsible and described the incident as a terrorist act.
