Congress Leader Demands CEC Resignation Over Voter List Irregularities

Former Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajay Kumar Lallu has raised serious questions about alleged irregularities in voter lists in Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal. He specifically cited issues in the Pilibhit Sadar constituency, claiming name changes with identical EPIC numbers and additions of external voters. Lallu demanded the cancellation of the SIR process, a return to ballot paper voting, and the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner. He also announced a 'Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao' rally in Delhi.

उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अजय कुमार लल्लू ने देहरादून, उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड और पश्चिम बंगाल में मतदाता सूची में कथित गड़बड़ियों पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से पीलीभीत सदर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में नाम बदलने, एक जैसे EPIC नंबर होने और बाहरी मतदाताओं को जोड़ने जैसे मुद्दों का हवाला दिया। लल्लू ने SIR प्रक्रिया को रद्द करने, मतपत्र से मतदान बहाल करने और मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग की। उन्होंने दिल्ली में 'वोट बचाओ-देश बचाओ' रैली की भी घोषणा की।
