EC Clarifies Commissioners' Queries on Draft Stage

The Election Commission stated that queries from Commissioners S S Sandhu and Vivek Joshi regarding electoral rolls were limited to draft stages and part of standard practice. The EC asserted that all decisions, including those on SIR, were unanimous outcomes of the full commission, refuting claims of unilateral action by CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Differing views are normal during deliberations before final decisions are made.

चुनाव आयोग ने बताया कि कमिश्नर एस एस संधू और विवेक जोशी के चुनावी रोल्स को लेकर सवाल ड्राफ्ट स्टेज तक ही सीमित थे और ये सामान्य प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा थे। आयोग ने साफ किया कि सभी फैसले, जिसमें SIR पर लिए गए निर्णय भी शामिल हैं, पूरी कमिश्नर की सर्वसम्मति से हुए थे। उन्होंने सीईसी ज्ञानेश कुमार द्वारा एकतरफा कार्रवाई के दावों को खारिज किया। अंतिम निर्णय से पहले अलग-अलग विचार आना सामान्य है।
